Another goal reached!

Rusty Dust-Eze. Great. Now I just GOT to have his brother Dusty. A perfect example of creating a need.

On the licence plate it spells RUST. His brother Dusty has EZE on his. Promotional spindoctors, those two...

Pretty neet, huh? Any one who knows what kind of car this diecast is inspired by?

More place for more cars!

Last night I suddenly got the greatest idea. It was a radical sollution on my long term issue with running out of place in my cabinet of diecast Pixar cars.

I simply put two shelves on the doors!

Just look how much space I got in the mid right section now! At least 5, maybe 6 cars can easily fit in that black empty space!

Looking at the collection with a wider perspective. This is almost all my cars from the first movie. I´ve also got the Dinocco Team but they are temporarely moved into my second cabinet, together with all the Cars 2 diecasts.

Just admitt it - the door-attached-shelves was rather clever, huh?

Something about that Sally

Unboxing my latest diecast. Sally with Cone.

I could have choosed the original Sally. But since I´ve decided to collect by character, I can choose which one of the different types of each and one characters there is.

And I like the puzzled look on Sallys face when she has the cone on her head.

And I like that this is a rare model. According to the Bible, err, I mean Take Five A Day this is one of only 20 000 models ever made. Now I got all of the five cars in the 20 000-gang: Fred, Todd the Pizza-truck, Milton Calypeer and Patti:

Makes me feel... good. In that strange must-collect-them-all-way.

Sally with Cone - One of the rare but necessary

I started thinking of what cars I should give priority to, instead of buying random Cars 2 models.
And when I took a closer look to my collection I was stunned. I have not bother to get Sally!

I guess I´ve always counted her already in my collection since she was one of the three very first cars I bought to A in the very very beginning. (The other two: Lightning McQueen and The King).

So now... Well. I took care of things:
