The Family

Here we are - all four one - one for all:

Me, I´m a 33 year old media worker and I love the form and figures from Disney. Hence this blogg.
I also love that Todd The Pizza Truck appears in all the Pixar movies and I can relate to his cool, but more-crazy-than-posh-style and his somewhat shabby cover. In my case that would be my torn jeans or not too well ironed shirt or a hood-jacket worn a litte too many times.
That´s why Todd is my avatar:
Look - he is me!

My wife is 35 and also an employee of the media circus here in Sweden. She loves gardening and has shown a great deal of strength in this new family situation of ours. She is a talented painter and should really try to realize those dreams of writing and drawing a childrens book someday. The abbillity to grow with the challenge is something she has in common with Holly Shiftwell. That and looks. And intelligence. And the rear view mirrors makes me think of her new sophisticated glasses:
Lines of beauty. But her favourite color is actually green. Hey Pixar/Mattel - can you fix that?

A is our first born son.
He was actually planned to be "an early 2008" but we were not so good at planning. So he came along in december 2007. Greatest day of my life!
He is the smartest four year old in the world, loves Cars - both the movies and the diecast models. He has a collection of his own consisting of 12 Cars from the first film and 7 from the second.
I have choosen Sal Machiani for his avatar - mostly because he is a small and fast vehicle. The three wheels makes him adorable - just like my son A.
Look - I´m fast AND cute!

And finally V!
You can find out more about his disease and the way we eventually found out about it on the special page called The disease on the upper left corner.
I choosed a happy vehicle for his avatar. V has always had a great humour. Very often smiling, laughing. You should see him now as he tries to jump. All that small body struggling and wow - he´s air born - for 2 millimeters! And laughing!
He loves to cuddle and gives a lot of hugs and kisses.
The pitty is a suitable vehicle in some ways. It´s a pitty, what has happened to him. But we are not down and beaten, you shouldn´t pitty me or my family. We have been sad, we have been miserable and shocked. But not anymore. This very evening we had a blast when I found out that he´d learned a game of jumping on each others shadows that me and A use to play. (It basically just that - we try to jump on each others shadows when we´re outside and it´s getting dark…)
A great moment, the whole family running around, shouting - "get out of my shadow!"
I love him as muh a parent ever could love a child. And I´m starting to accept and even appreciate what has happened to him more and more. On this blogg I´ll try to tell you how this is possible.
Smiling V - and the device in his "hands" is often an electric whisk.
